Sanitary Pads and Basic hygiene items: To Provide sanitary pads and basic hygiene items to young needy girls in deprived communities

The Purple and Pink Initiative: Many girls still fight their menstruation because of basic items to take care of themselves during the period. Occassional donation drives don't solve this problem. This initiative is aimed at being a more sustainable approach where needy girls in selected deprived communities will be registered and provided sanitary pads and basic hygiene items during their time of the month. In addition, the initiative is aimed at liasing with health officials in the selected communities to help the girls identify menstrual health problems and work on treating them to curtail it's adverse effects in the future.
